- Easily washable bedding
- Food and water dishes—heavy enough they won’t tip easily
- Good quality food. Don’t skimp on your puppy’s nutrition.

- A collar and leash
- An ID tag with your phone number
- Safe chew toys
- Grooming supplies: brush, gentle shampoo, doggy toothbrush, nail
- Supplies to clean up puppy "accidents" and eliminate odor. (Never use
ammonia. Dog urine has ammonia in it, and puppy will think this is his
"spot." Good commercial products are available.)
